Mission Statement

Our mission is –

  • To provide the students with a highly literate environment filled with letters, books, phonics, colors, and activities that model literacy through language, reading and writing. More broadly, the curriculum of NCERT which includes working with integrated thematic units that touch on meaningful and relevant issues in young students lives at pre-primary levels. Subjects include: languages, mathematics, science, Social Science, music, art, media, cultural awareness, moral education, Information and Communication Technology and physical education are introduced gradually from primary to high school level which are supplemented with appropriate teaching-learning process.
  • To develop the children with active and creative mind, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress on the all round development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical.
  • To create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through development-appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. Our school promotes a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment. Each student’s self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with students and staff. We strive to have our parents, teachers, and community members actively involved on our students’ learning.

We Care about ourselves and others to create, support and maintain powerful, engaged learning in the Humanities, commerce and Sciences. We dare to use innovative techniques to enhance lifelong learning through technology, the multiple intelligences, varied instructional strategies, and interdisciplinary units. We Share our cultural backgrounds to nurture growth, responsibility, and productivity by celebrating our diversity within a positive school-wide atmosphere and by promoting sportsmanship spirit.

Vision statement

  • To be a model school in Sikkim that is highly regarded not only for its academic excellence and to prepare students to understand, contribute to, and succeed in a rapidly changing society but empower girls to have highly developed EQ. We will ensure that our students develop the leadership skills in the emerging and developing economy. We will also provide practical and theoretical knowledge that enables pupils to better understand our world and improve conditions for local and global communities.

Total participation of parents in learning process by ensuring that the pupils:

  • Attend regularly.
  • Are sent to the school in full uniform and with protective clothing for bad weather.
  • Have appropriate equipment, such as books, copies, pens, pencils, ruler, eraser and a suitable bag.
  • Arrive at the school by 8.30 am each morning.
  • Attempt homework to the best of their ability.
  • Progress and achievement are to be monitored through the test copies, achievement diaries and report cards.
  • Have physical and mental fitness to cope with adjustment required in learning

Pupils are expected to

  • Maintain discipline of the school and show respect to others.
  • Arrive on time each day, attend regularly and bring all the necessary equipments such as lunch box, water bottle, umbrella etc.
  • Complete all homework set to the best of their ability.
  • Abide by the rules and regulations of the school which are laid down in the school diary.
  • Work hard in lessons.
  • Revise thoroughly for all tests and examinations.
  • Show willingness to work hard with their teacher
